Shrunken Heads Senator Chris Dodd has a new book out called Letters From Nuremberg. In the book he describes what he believes to be the most famous moment of the Nuremberg Trial: When his dad presented a shrunken head to the court. This website and video are the first to expose the great fraud that moment was. When I made the video, I didn't know half the stuff I know now. It all confirmed the fraud way more. Like the Andreas Pfaffenberger statement below in topic #1. The
shrunken heads are part and parcel with the Ilse Koch human skin lampshade
story of the Buchenwald concentration camp. Here's a summary of what
happened in that larger picture: 11 Topics that Support The Video 1) German POW Andreas Pfaffenberger is the source of information for the shrunken heads. Thomas J. Dodd reads parts of Pfaffenberger's written statement (called an affidavit) to the court. But Pfaffenberger was nowhere near the Buchenwald concentration camp when it was liberated by the Americans. He had surrendered as a German army soldier on the front 5 months earlier. And anyone who reads his statement in it's entirety will see that Pfaffenberger is lying. But aside from all this, the following images of the online Nuremberg transcript show how prosecutor Thomas J. Dodd knowingly misled the court as to the background of the Pfaffenberger statement. recap, German prisoner of war Andreas Pfaffenberger gave a signed
statement which mentioned the shrunken heads. American prosecutor
Thomas J. Dodd then read a couple sentences from this statement to
the Nuremberg Court. But spend 10 minutes reading Pfaffenberger's
entire statement. You'll find absurd tales like how the Nazis supposedly
covered Jews up with manure and then forced inmates to do exercises
on top of the manure in order to suffocate those underneath. He mentions
a lot of things that none of the other 20,000 prisoners seemed to
have seen or experienced! And the Americans will be happy to hear
that while Pfaffenberger was a German soldier, he only fired blanks

a clear example of Pfaffenberger lying in his affidavit: he claims
to have seen with his own eyes the Austrian Minister of the Interior,
Josef Reither, killed in the camp during the war, but Reither didn't
die in a camp, nor did he die during the war, nor was he ever at Buchenwald.
He was at Dachau.

and such. The information for that, presented at Nuremberg, comes

in the video Nazi Shrunken Heads: One of the shrunken heads on display on the table at Buchenwald was afterward taken to Nuremberg where Thomas J. Dodd offered it into evidence. When a German Jew, Albert G. Rosenberg (who had recently been made a US citizen and was now an Army Lieutenant in the Psychological Warfare Division) came into Buchenwald, there on a table set up by the prisoners for him to see, were two shrunken heads. (source: see number 5 below) He was the first American serviceman to see the heads. If he could be considered American at that point. The shrunken heads apparently survived months or years in that room where Pfaffenberger apparently saw them, withstood the investigation of Konrad Morgen into Commandante Koch (see my article on Morgen on my website) had still not disappeared when the new commandante who replaced Koch took over, and even remained at the camp after the German army evacuation; and exactly two just like in Pfaffenberger's statement, had made it onto the display table. Someone in Psych Warfare likely supplied two shrunken heads to the inmates to place on the table. During WWII there weren't a lot of American servicemen stationed in Brazilian port cities, what with Brazil not greatly figuring into WWII. But strangely Albert G. Rosenberg was stationed in the Brazilian port city of Natal, Brazil. Rosenberg told me he'd seen plastic shrunken heads as well as real shrunken heads in the stores there. Whether ideas he or his felllow servicemen got in Brazil has anything to do with his stumbling upon two shrunken heads at Buchenwald in Germany, is open to conjecture. Another Jewish-American Psychological Warfare officer, Edward A. Tenenbaum, was the first American serviceman to enter Buchenwald (Rosenberg was the first to see the heads, Tennenbaum didn't see those.) Tenenbaum had got to Buchenwald days before Rosenberg. Strange that the first American soldier to enter Buchenwald would be a member of Psyche Warfare isn't it? Did Tenenbaum tip off the prisoners as to what should be on that table? And even supply them? It's hard to know. The heads survived a lot of changes at the Buchenwald camp if you believe the standardstory. Strangely they didn't survive after being the biggest moment of the Nuremberg Trial. Today they're no longer anywhere to be found, and that's probably a "convenient disappearance" since a modern day scientific analysis would likely dispel Dodd's story of their provenance. 2)

where a metal plate with an inscription had probably once been, but
was likely pried-off.
The flat surface on the front likely had a thin metal plate inscribed with something like "Shrunken Head, Amazon Jungle" in some language, in the same way that athletics trophies have that plate. Someone likely pried this off so it would work as atrocity evidence, which is why we see a flat surface for no apparent reason.
Lawrence Douglas' article entitled "The Shrunken Heads of Buchenwald: Icons of Atrocity at Nuremberg" points out that the photo of the shrunken head on base (2 images above) comes from Charles Alexander and Anne Keeshan's book "Justice at Nuernberg: A Pictorial Record of the Trial (New York, 1946) Douglas mentions that Alexander was the Director of Photography for the International Military Tribunal, and that the only pieces of material evidence in Alexander's pictorial book are the heads and skin. What I take from that fact is that there isn't a lot of material evidence to support the holocaust. (SOURCE: Douglas in Representations #63, Summer 1998, page 41.) 3)
Caucasian shrunken head at Harvard University

The short article in the "countway.harvard.edu" link above is key to understanding the Buchenwald shrunken heads because it explains how a demand for shrunken heads in North America and Europe created a market for counterfeit shrunken heads made from South Americans of any cultural and even racial background. As the article states, "by unscrupulous individuals in South America who were not affiliated in any way with the tribes." They were real heads, but not from the famous so-called "head hunter" tribe, the Jivaro. Even the Harvard head was mislabeled for years as an authentic "tsantsa." The shrunken head presented at Nuremberg was also a fake tsantsa but real human head in the same way as the Harvard exhibit. A real tsantsa made by the Jivaro tribe has the mouth stitched closed. The European buyers of shrunken heads didn't know that. A real tsantsa wouldn't have worked as planted evidence at Buchenwald. But no problem: most shrunken heads weren't real tsantsas anyway. Harvard's caucasian shrunken head shows us something else: that the Buchenwald heads were not caucasian. One need only look at the difference. One can see that facial features, facial color, and hair color are preserved enough to be able to tell that this is a caucasian woman, and that the one offered as Nuremberg evidence is not. Perhaps the man whose head got made into a shrunken head had been a homeless person in a large South American city who died a natural death on the urban streets and was sent to a city morgue where unscrupulous people worked. These were the kind of scenarios where fake tsantsas came from. And fake tsantsas made up the majority of the heads sent to Europe and the USA. This brings up an error in the video: the phrasing in the video at the beginning of repeatedly saying "South American rain forest" is incorrect. It should just say "South America." I'd like to mention a comment posted at youtube.com before this video was deleted there due to it's holocaust denial content. The poster wrote the following: "When approaching Revisionist matters like the 'Polish shrunken heads,' it helps to take a simple and common-sense approach. Which scenario is more likely: That some bored German doctor spent a great deal of time imitating the head-shrinking techniques of an obscure Amazonian tribe (for no apparent reason), or that the over-zealous Nuremburg prosecutors admitted bogus evidence--in this case 2 specimens that look suspiciously like exhibits 'borrowed' from a natural history museum?" 4) The American Lieutenant in charge of documenting Buchenwald (where the shrunken heads came from) was from the Psychological Warfare Division of the Allied Forces. Albert G. Rosenberg was Jewish, born and raised in Germany. He had recently become an American. "Psychological Warfare Division." That's a strange name for a department that's going to document a concentration camp for future generations isn't it? The Lieutenant in the PWD was Albert G. Rosenberg. Eventhough he was only in his late 20's at the time, he had a rare special pass called a "SHAEF Pass", which gave him the power to confiscate the posh villa belonging to Baldur Von Schirach, who had been the wartime mayor of Vienna and also the leader of the Hitler Youth. Rosenberg lived in the villa with 12-15 former Buchenwald inmates and the team wrote-up a documentation of the camp. Most of the former inmates were communists, led by a non-communist Austrian Catholic named Eugen Kogon. Kogon compiled the report while Albert Rosenberg supervised the overall project. One could say that the documentation of Buchenwald is largely a story of liberated communists working in a posh villa, under the supervision of a Jewish Psychological Warfare Division Lieutenant who had emigrated to the USA from Germany just seven years earlier. Objectivity you can count on. After this project, Albert Rosenberg confiscated a German suburban house for Eugen Kogon and his family to live in, so that Kogon could write a book on his personal experiences at Buchenwald. The Psychological Warfare Division, which by now had made the Orwellian move to change it's name to "Information Control" wanted this book to be read by the German population. The book, called "Der SS-Staat, is still the standard work for Buchenwald. In my June 2007, 2-hour phone conversation with the elderly Albert G. Rosenberg, he told me that Kogon could have become Chancellor of Germany instead of Konrad Adenaur, (something about Kogon knowing a "Cardinal Pacelli" and how that was a good thing.) but one was more right and the other more center, and Adenauer ended up becoming Chancellor. Months later out of curiosity I looked up Cardinal Pacelli on Wikipedia and saw he became Pope Pius XII in 1939. That would have been interesting though: Psych Warfare changes it's name to "Information Control" and promotes Kogon to become the head of Modernist Germany. It would have been 1984 in 1954. Above: Hackett's book page 20 on Psych Warfare's, I mean Information Control's, I mean Eugen Kogon's, lasting legacy. 5) My nearly 2-hour phone conversation with Albert G. Rosenberg in June 2007. He is the Psych Warfare Officer who came into Buchenwald to document it. He immigrated to the USA in 1938 from Germany. He was 89 years old when we talked. I merely phoned him up after dialing Directory Assistance to get his number. Among other things, I wanted to ask him about the table. How did the table with the heads and skins come about? He told me the answer: When he arrived at Buchenwald the table was already set up. The table was set up by the prisoners. He later mentioned that the prisoners had a self-governing structure, and their leaders were communists. That's what he told me. I then later looked at the Nuremberg transcript and realized that the table was filmed and that footage was presented at Nuremberg, but the context that the prisoners set up the table was never told to the court. I had thought the table itself was at Nuremberg and that's an error in my video. The judges at the Nuremberg court would have thought that the table was set up by American investigators. They didn't know it was set up by prisoners. One of the heads on the Buchenwald table, however, was taken and later presented at Nuremberg. It was placed on it's own little table, covered by a cloth, to be revealed on Thomas J. Dodd's cue. One would think that information submitted into evidence at Nuremberg about the tattooed skin, about the heads, would have come from Rosenberg's interviews with inmates, and not from a POW captured on the front 5 months before. That's very odd. I still haven't figured out what he deal was with that. I didn't ask Rosenberg about that because I didn't know about Pfaffenberger at the time. Rosenberg told me that 2 years previous to serving in Germany, he'd been stationed in a port city in Brazil called Natal. I later looked on my globe and saw that this is where shrunken heads might have been exported to Europe. Psyche Warfare wouldn't have needed to get the heads there, they could have got them at a museum or curio shoppe in Europe, but they may have taken note of the psychological fascination they carried during their stay in this port city. They may have noticed this horrible export-product coming from this city, perhaps with garish billboard-type signs advertising shrunken heads all over the city of Natal to sell to tourists. Rosenberg told me he saw plastic ones and real ones in shops there. I asked him why the American army would put a German speaking Jewish serviceman in Brazil. He said it had something to do with supply routes to Africa, with the supplies then making their way to Europe. He said that, by chance in Brazil, he'd actually seen real shrunken heads, and the ones on the Buchenwald table didn't look like that. I replied that while most heads sold to the American and European market were real shrunken heads, they were also "fake tsantsas" in that they didn't really come from the Jivaro tribe. The notoriety of the real heads from that tribe is what started the counterfeit market. And here's the thing: the counterfeits do look like the heads on the Buchenwald table. I later reflected, somewhat suspiciously, that at 89 years old, it was amazing he could remember that. That he could remember the heads he saw in Brazil were different from the ones at Buchenwald. Maybe that logic was there in his mental back pocket, to throw someone off, in case anyone ever connected the dots. He told me he saw someone at Buchenwald beaten to death right in front of him by a crowd of inmates. The victim was apparently a guard, who at the end, had not been able to evacuate and instead tried to blend in as a prisoner, but was recognized and then beaten to death. I reflected on that later, after the phone conversation, and thought that with 20,000 inmates, I suppose it was possible to be recognized, but why would a guard be anywhere near where Rosenberg was? Maybe it was actually a prisoner starting to be vocal about the display table being a fraud, and the response was someone accusing him of being a disguised former guard. This is total guesswork on my part though. It is odd that he saw someone beaten to death right before his eyes. Rosenberg told me he had had a very rare pass called a "SHAEF Pass" which allowed him to requisition homes and things. Jokingly he called it a "007 Pass" and something like an Eisenhower signature or something like that was required to get one. He mentioned "secret mission" which kind of threw me for a loop except that was around the time he'd mentioned "007 pass" so it was part of that joke. It threw me for a loop because I think he probably was on a secret mission to defame the German people. It was a nearly 2 hour conversation which I took notes on. I asked him about Edward A. Tenenbaum coming into the camp before he got there, and he said that Tenenbaum had only been there for around a half day or so. I'm curious to know if Tenenbaum was in Brazil too. I didn't ask. One of the things he'd done during the war was help write psych warfare leaflets that would then be dropped on German troops. They would say how their German officers are giving themselves medals why they are out here fighting. Or leaflets that would have the phonetic way to say "I surrender." (for German soldiers who can't speak English) He actually told me and apparently believed that prisoners would have to get nude, and Ilse Koch would ride out on a horse and select tattoos she liked. I found that so ridiculous, but I didn't tell him. I didn't tell him I was a denier until the end, since the conversation was about him, not me, and when I did tell him, I did it as politely as possible. His response was "the holocaust did happen." I told him that if he ever wants to write a rebuttal to anything in my video or website, that I'd publish it unedited on my site. The phone call ended cordially. I never told him that I think he's the one who planted the heads at Buchenwald, but he probably could have figured that out, what with us talking about his stay in Brazil; as well as us talking about him coming upon the Buchenwald table, all in the same phone conversation. Maybe he's just a magnet for where shrunken heads happen to be located. 6) Professor David A. Hackett has in his possession a 50-page dissertation on the subject of how criminality relates to tattoos. It was written by a German student on the Buchenwald camp premises, likely just before the war started.
In a phone conversation, and before I told him I was a denier (he won't respond to me now) Professor David A. Hackett, the translator of Albert G. Rosenberg's "The Buchenwald Report" told me that amongst all the papers that Rosenberg gave him around 40 to 50 years after the war, was this dissertation. Apparently a student was studying a perceived connection between criminality and tattoos. (Common criminals were part of the inmate population at Buchenwald.) Hackett told me that he'd read the dissertation and it was of really poor-quality scholarship, which elicited a stupid "har har" chuckle from both of us. Only later did I realize that the dissertation is a piece of withheld evidence. Ilse Koch's lawyers would have liked to have known about it. Afterall, it could have helped exonerate Koch from the incredibly cruel charges that she made lampshades out of human skin. Her lawyers could have offered an alternate explanation, using the dissertation to bolster the notion that tattooed skin was at the camp because a student had been studying the skin. Similarly, the Nuremberg defendants' lawyers would have also wanted to see it, since they could have used it to offer an explanation as to why tattooed skin was found at Buchenwald. I'll even make the prediction that the footage of this table shown at Nuremberg was edited so that the right-side of the table where the dissertaton was, was edited out. That way no defendant lawyer could notice it in the footage. Then there's the Germans' lawyers at the trial of the Buchenwald guards where 11 were executed and 9 got life sentences. Those lawyers would have also liked to have seen it. As mentioned, perhaps the PhD student borrowed dried tattoo specimens from an anatomical museum and took the tattoos with him to the camp to study them. Or perhaps when prisoners died a natural death at Buchenwald, tattoos were removed for studying. It all seems more plausible than the lampshade story doesn't it? Particularly when you add this to the fact that the camp was liberated in April 1945, but Ilse Koch hadn't been at the camp since 1943. Could the prisoners have created a lie based on what this dissertation student was doing? Or was it just paranoia? With the lampshade being a basic lampshade under which were shrunken heads and tattooed skin? An important point is that in the 1940's and '50's trials, Rosenberg had this evidence and withheld it. And tattooing can go with body-piercing, and this all gets into "Modern Primitivism" and "Tribalism." From there it might have been apropos for the student to go into the primitivism of the historical practices of a South American indian tribe that shrunk heads. Maybe shrunken heads are even mentioned in the dissertation. Maybe it was the PhD student who brought shrunken heads there. Who knows. Hackett has clammed up to my questions. Or it could be that this is what started the rumours, and Psych Warfare chose to build on them. But perhaps the "PhD research explanation of the table" is enough and Psych Warfare didn't plant anything. The dissertation is the only thing on the table that is known to be in existence today. Rosenberg gave it to Hackett in the 1980's or 1990's and Hackett currently possesses it. This points toward the notion that Rosenberg took possession of everything on the table, sent some of it to Nuremberg and other trials, and obviously kept at least one thing and maybe more, for himself. In my nearly two-hour phone conversation with Rosenberg, he told me that he "burned half of the reports" he had lying around from his days in Psych Warfare. Did he also get rid of things like the "human pelvis ashtray"? One wonders. It's a trip that this piece of evidence, the withholding of which helped get a lot of people executed, is probably sitting in the bottom of some box in some garage in El Paso, Texas, as kids skateboard by on the hot asphalt street out in front. Why can't Professor Hackett get a digital camera, and take photos of the pages of the dissertation and put them on his website so that others can take a look at this German language document? I did it (below in number 10) with Joseph Thon's speech and it was really easy and took the space of around 2 hours. 7) The United States' disinformation campaign against Libya's Muammar Gaddafi Supporting the assertion that the Israeli government (or possibly the British) planted atrocity stories about Idi Amin in Uganda and abroad, we see that the CIA did something similar against Libya's Muammar Gaddafi several years later in 1985. in the article, the mention of Gaddaffi being "off his rocker"
is similar to the portrayal of Idi Amin. To
summarize: seeing what the CIA tried to do with Gaddafi, is it
that outlandish to think that Israel or England might have done the
same thing with Idi Amin? But more successfully and more secretively? 8) Nayirah speaks perfect American English I include this point just to show how easy it is to fool everybody. A friend, F.B., recently pointed out that Nayirah has no accent. I had never thought of that, and neither did anyone else apparently. The idea that not only does Nayirah speak American English with no accent, but she just so happened to be a 14-15 year old helping out in the neo-natal intensive care unit in a Kuwait hospital during wartime when the Iraqi soldiers barged in to steal the incubators! It's so easy to put forth a war-atrocity lie believed by all. The rule is the more outrageous, the more believable. Nayirah had no accent because she lived in the USA with her dad, the US ambassador of Kuwait. This hoax should have been uncovered before anyone walked out of Tom Lantos' Human Rights Caucus, but it was two months before the incubator story was discovered as a hoax, and a whopping 10 MONTHS before it was discovered who Nayirah really was. By then the US was already in Iraq. A lie as imitative of past lies, (Germans killing babies in WW I) and as flimsy as the Nayirah account barely gets uncovered. And look how little people care: Tom Lantos who knowingly instigated the hoax (in collusion with the Hill and Knowlton PR firm) is the current member of the House of Representatives for South San Francisco, California, an area full of smart, high IQ people with advanced degrees working in the capital of the computer and bio-tech industry. The 1940's and 1950's saw millions of Jews immigrating from Europe to Israel. One need only pick a random sidewalk café in Tel Aviv and watch the people walking by to see that. But this mid 1900's immigration brings up an interesting notion: If there were Israelis in some agency floating anti-Idi Amin rumours into the Ugandan population and world press in the 1970's, what were these people doing and saying in Europe 30 years earlier when they were there? The ending of the video kind of brings up that topic by drawing a parallel to the severed heads in Amin's freezer story, to the Buchenwald shrunken heads. A parallel could be seen by Representative Tom Lantos (who is a featured holocaust survivor in a Steven Spielberg produced movie) putting forth his Nayirah lie on the American public, but also having a holocaust story about his experiences in Europe. In a loose way, and to show this point: was there ever a person in Europe who lied about his enemies in Europe, who then immigrated to the mideast and lied about his enemies in the mideast? Who then had dealings in Africa and who lied about his enemies in Africa? All with devastating effect? It's a vague question not aimed at anyone in particular, but consider that Tom Lantos is the only holocaust survivor to have served in the U.S Congress. He immigrated from Europe to the US at 19. Much later he set up a lie that drastically effected the direction the US took in the Mideast. Today he heads the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. Click

9) Interview with Last King of Scotland director Kevin MacDonald on youtube.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0OdUuEk08w When this clip is viewed with the idea that Israel had put out a disinformation campaign against Amin, it's seen in a whole new way. In my video, I quote a Time Magazine passage about the freezer of human heads in Amin's house, and as my friend Bradley Smith points out, that's how a successful disinformation campaign would work: a story that is floated into the air of the general population. The Macdonald clip confirms that these stories were floating around in Uganda. In the clip we hear how MacDonald's Ugandan advisor remembers a story about how Amin ate his favorite son's heart. And yet Macdonald is sort of on the fence as to whether he believes it or not. As he says, "It COULD be a myth." When I myself here that story, I just think "that's absurd." All it takes is watching director Barbet Schroeder's documentary on Amin from 1974 to see that Amin may be egotistical, and may need to be the center of attention, but he isn't a raving lunatic nut, which is how the movie The Last King of Scotland portrays him, directed by Kevin MacDonald whose Hungarian Jewish grandfather was also a famous filmmaker. (Not to be confused with Professor Kevin MacDonald who has the same name) The Last King of Scotland and the general historiography of Amin is likely a vestige of "blowback" from a psych warfare campaign against Amin in the 1970's by Israel and/or the British. Barbet Schroeder's documentary on Amin shows Kevin MacDonald's movie to be one giant false portrayal of Amin. And that's amazing considering that Barbet Schroeder's movie is against Idi Amin. This can be seen in the closing scene of the movie where Schroeder takes advantage of his permission to film Amin to create a cheap shot by showing a close-up on Amin's face, while amplifying the breathing coming from the microphone attached to Amin's lapel, all to make Amin look like a savage beast. But here's the deal: Africa is hot, and that's how a huge man breathes in hot weather. (300 lb. 6 foot 5, I believe, former Ugandan boxing heavyweight champion.) Here's a still from the movie:

Documentary is called "General Idi Amin Dada."(1974) Available from the Criterion Collection on DVD. 10) Joseph Thon was hoping to get the Americans to use poison gas against the German population. Joseph Thon was the man who mentioned the "six million" number before anybody could have known that was the figure. He said it in front of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs in late March 1945. (By the way, did you notice in the video that Tom Lantos headed the same committee 60 years later?) Joseph Thon lied about German atrocities but what was his motivation? Why would anyone lie about such a thing? We have his own words to answer that which he wrote in an introduction to a book called "Warsaw Ghetto: A Diary": "The

That possibility was not far-fetched considering that the USA later used the atomic bomb on the Japanese civilian population. Thon used atrocity stories to try to get the allies to use poison gas and bacteriological warfare on the Germans, and Lantos used atrocity stories to get the US to use cruise missiles against the Iraqis. It's an extrapolation of Professor Kevin MacDonald's theory of Jewish group evolutionary strategy.

Click a page: It must be said, that this Foreign Affairs publication (which I wish I could include here in it's entirety since it's so outrageous) refutes the commonly believed concept that American troops going into the camps is what brought the holocaust story to the USA. The troops went into the camps in April. Here in March this booklet shows the holocaust story firmly in place at the top levels. If anything, Psych Warfare seems to be right behind the front lines, and being among the first to enter the camps to create evidence to bolster the lie that is already being put forth. I don't think the concept of "blowback" was really around back then. In other words, instilling beliefs in the people of Germany and USA was one in the same, ethically alright, and synergistic. Psych Warfare in this sense, has the double mission of keeping Americans "psyched for warfare." And "psyched that we just spent the last 4 years in warfare." By the late 1980's however, even the smallest blowback of disinformation created an uproar. Segueing into the subjects of Konrad Morgen, Ilse Koch, and Karl Koch The shrunken heads and the tattooed skin are part of the same thing: They were both put on the Buchenwald display table by the prisoners (perhaps with the help of allied Psyche Warfare); and Pfaffenberger's fraudulent and anachronistic testimony was used to describe them both at Nuremberg. The skin, by the way, at Nuremberg seems to be different from what's on the Buchenwald table if one compares the tattoo images to the description of the images in Medical Examiner Reubin Cares' report. Professor Arthur Butz mentions in his book Hoax of the 20th Century that Ilse Koch was no longer living at the camp. She and her husband had been arrested in 1943. Her husband was executed, not by the Americans, but by the Nazis, for corruption and getting a couple of inmates killed. The charges against him did not involve grotesque activities with human skin and shrinking heads. Morgen didn't find any evidence of grotesque activities for Ilse Koch either. And considering that Ilse Koch had not been at Buchenwald for around a year and a half, to two years by the time the Americans came, the idea that the wife of an executed former head of the camp would have a storage locker there, or that her gruesome stuff would still be lying around all over the place is absurd. The camp was captured by the Americans in April 1945. Ilse Koch had left in 1943. But when the camp is taken by the Americans, here's this display table showing Ilse Koch's tattooed skin, and human heads. The notion that "Ilse Koch did all this terrible stuff, and now that we're in Buchenwald, we see physical examples" only works if Ilse Koch lived at the camp until the end. Psyche Warfare didn't know all that when/if they planted the stuff. They didn't know the Nazis had done their own corruption investigation at Buchenwald. It's a challenge to fathom how ignorant the Nuremberg prosecution was about Buchenwald: They have a huge staff of people, but they didn't even know that the head of the camp, Karl Koch was tried and executed for crimes there. (See my article on Konrad Morgen) Instead their modus operandi was presenting a shrunken head and tattooed skin and then faking-out the judges by making it sound like the information they read to the court was testimony and reports taken at the time the camp was taken over. At one point when American prosecutor Thomas J. Dodd discovers mid-trial (from a German lawyer) that Konrad Morgen sentenced Koch to death during the war, Dodd then pathetically tries to save his famous courtroom presentation by lying to the court and saying that Morgen also saw the tattooed skin and shrunken heads. If you've believed in the holocaust all your life, then you'd think the Karl Koch trial (Ilse's husband) would have really uncovered atrocities. The logic being that if the Nazis killed one of their own, he must have been really, really bad. But the holocaust is a hoax, and this Karl Koch trial, were the transcripts ever to be seen, would show a man getting sentenced to death for killing a couple people, as can be read about in the Nuremberg transcript here, scroll to page 499, see numbers on left. That would not fit at all with the holocaust hoax, which is all about guards killing Jews all the time for sport, for fun, with abandon and with no repercussions. As a result, my guess is that the Nazi government transcript of the Karl Koch trial has conveniently disappeared. Likely destroyed. At the Nuremberg Trial, one of the lawyers for the Germans, Kurt Kauffmann, (see page 200) in good faith, wants to see the Karl Koch trial transcript and/or judgment. He'd like it introduced into evidence. He's heard it exists because Thomas Dodd has just talked about his team looking at it. With the 140 member staff of the IMT, and with each German defendant simply having one lawyer, he asked the judge if it can be brought into evidence. The judge won't help and I don't think it's ever mentioned after that, and I doubt any Karl Koch trial documents exist today. In the following passage of the Nuremberg Transcript, at page 199 we see a number of important points: • That Thomas J. Dodd later read the trial transcript for December 19, 1945, (he wasn't present that day) where he would have noticed the Nuremberg Presiding Judge along with USA Prosecutor Robert Jackson not having a clue about the background of the Pfaffenberger affidavit he introduced. In other words, Dodd read the proceedings where this dialogue occured. But, chooses not to clear this up. • We see a German lawyer trying unsuccessfully to get some Karl Koch trial documents, even the Karl Koch trial transcript. • Dodd claims that SS Judge Konrad Morgan, saw a shrunken head, saw the tattooed skin, and saw a human skin lampshade. But, explains Dodd, Morgen simply didn't prosecute Koch for these offenses. Dodd says this to protect his famous presentation of a head and skin in the Nuremberg courtroom; and to hedge against the logic that the skin, shrunken heads, and lampshades might have come up in a trial by the Nazis against Karl Koch. And Dodd isn't going to be "called" on that because the Americans have SS Judge Konrad Morgen imprisoned at Dachau. It will be a months of delay before the German lawyers are finally able to find Morgen so that he can testify. Ideally, Dodd wanted Morgen to take the stand and say all this himself and tried to get him to do so. In David Irving's free online book Nuremberg, The Last Battle, page 223, we read how Konrad Morgen felt about this:
So ultimately we ask what happened at Buchenwald. What is the origin of the heads and the skin?: SCENARIO A: Psych Warfare Officer Edward A. Tenenbaum, the first American to arrive at Buchenwald, drove up in his jeep which contained atrocity items to give to the communist camp leadership. He had a meeting with the camp leaders and gave them the skin and the shrunken heads, which were later put on a display table. The war was still going on and a plot like this would not be outside the scope of the kind of thing a Psych Warfare department does. Particularly before the topic of "Blowback" was an ethical issue. Problem: The Phd dissertation doesn't fit into that. Also, I haven't read Tenenbaum's 18 page preliminary report on the camp but it doesn't seem to fit with this either. David A. Hackett on page 5 of his book "The Buchenwald Report" has this to say regarding what Tenenbaum and his companion saw: "They could not help being impressed that 'instead of a heap of corpses, or a disorderly mob of starving, leaderless men, the Americans found a disciplined and efficient organization in Buchenwald.'" As this was the first main camp taken, perhaps Psyche Warfare thought they could go into the camp and merely articulate the truth to the German population as a means to demoralize them, but when Tenenbaum saw different, maybe it was back to the drawing board for Psyche Warfare, which brings to mind SCENARIO C where the second Psych Warfare officer showed up some days later. SCENARIO B: A Phd student was writing a dissertation having something to do with criminality and tattoos, and possibly from there, getting into tribalism and tribal icons which for one tribe, involves shrunken heads. This turned into a rumor in the camp. There was no reason for the camp administration to hide these items, to remove them after the Karl Koch trial crackdown, or to take these items when the allies were coming, or to destroy them. Similarly the departure of Ilse Koch from the camp a year and a half earlier had no bearing on these items. In other words, these items were simply items in a student's research. The heads the student had were real South American shrunken heads, but not what are called "tsantsas"--the real shrunken heads that are part of the culture of the Jivaro aka Shuar tribe. The Phd student didn't know that, in the same way that for many years the curators of Harvard University's caucasian shrunken head didn't know it wasn't an authentic tsantsa either. The prisoners who set up the table may or may not having been trying to spread an anti-Nazi lie. It might have been just paranoia which in that case explains the lamp at the right in the photo of the table. From the photo it has no tattoos. It was just a lamp in some room near the heads and skin, and paranoia took it from there. This fits the Samuel Crowell thesis: Crowell is a revisionist writer who puts forth the "paranoid" theory of how the holocaust legend came about. But other things point to a deliberate attempt at lying, which is perhaps why the pelvis is covering the base of the heads, to maybe hide that the metal inscription plates were removed. Problem: If there were rumours in the camp about prisoners being killed for their skin, and rumours about inmates having their heads shrunk, and if Konrad Morgen had done a major investigation of the camp, you wouldn't think the shrunken heads and the skin would still be there afterward. They would have been taken away just to avoid a rumour from continuing. Then again, maybe the items were just placed in a cabinet away from view. SCENARIO C: Albert G. Rosenberg is the one who brought the shrunken heads and skin to the camp. It seemed like a good plan only because no one at Psych Warfare knew about the Konrad Morgen investigation and the Karl Koch case. Had they known about that, it wouldn't have seemed like such a good plan.
Whoever wrote the Pfaffenberger affidavit knew something about the camp. The affidavit mentions many real people: Koch, Sommer, Eisele (spelled wrong in the affidavit) people who Konrad Morgen investigated and sentenced. Did Psyche Warfare write it based on information from interrogating other prisoners? Did Pfaffenberger himself write it, except he was really a guard at the camp rather than an inmate? Who knows. One thing I know is the Nazis didn't shrink heads at Buchenwald; and the American Nuremberg prosecution hardly represented the Moral High Ground, as Thomas J. Dodd's son, 2008 presidential candidate, Chris Dodd, would like people to believe, and he probably believes himself. |
